Re: Hiveswap Act 2
I hope you and Leddy are right. I wish no ill will on WP, Huss, et. all. You can call me a Caliborn but I like results. End product. Something done. That gives me a reason to believe folks. The amount of crowd-funded flops far outweighs the amount of successes--and one of those flops belongs to this...

Re: In Defense of the Homestuck Patreon
Listen, I get the point of this thread is to defend the Patreon.
I don't attack or resent its existence. If folks want to donate, great!
But don't try to tell me it's not funding Hiveswap development. I wasn't born yesterday and the baby was not, in fact, me.

Re: Hiveswap Act 2
I hope Act 2 has significantly more content to it, but I'm not optimistic. If I were forced to gamble on it I'd say it'll be 5 years before we see all acts complete. At least. And then Hauntswitch? Not to be dramatic but this is taking an eternity. I'd argue quite otherwise I'll be honest. The wait...

Re: In Defense of the Homestuck Patreon
Have we not learnt anything from Hiveswap? The teams assembled for official Homestuck content have always had severe management issues. Man, this x1000000000 I think the #1 problem with the Homestuck Patreon is that it's now funding Hiveswap yet again. Hiveswap is a black hole for funding. I would ...

What's the current signature limit? Some signature images are just ultra-massive. I like Barrakewda (sp?)'s posts but that signature image engulfs my everything

Re: Mr. Tambourine Man is great
I don't understand why this doesn't get more reddit/discord/etc attention. It is so, so good. To me it's the "real" epilogue--even more than Act Omega, which I also love. It's a good marriage of act six Feelings--done RIGHT and true to character--about characters we actually care about, and early Ho...

Re: Alright what team are you guys on: Team Dirk, Team Alt!Calliope, or Team DIRKMUSTBESTOPPED?
Whatever team gets the narrative out of dirk's control and gets dirk out of nearly every page/story, as he is quickly inserting himself somehow (BGD or not)

Re: Retcon opinions
The Retcon should've never happened. Either tone down the amount of 'wow everything is awful' going on, or find a way to stick through it. Magically poofing everything away in a 'LOL never happened' is a giant middle finger to the reader, and has been every single time it's happened in a piece of f...

Re: Theory: Lord English's "poison"
I interpreted it as just a somewhat dick-ish twist of the knife by Dirk. He had the power to let John live but wrote in some poison crap we'd never heard of before just to ensure it killed him and erased him from relevancy. I think Dirk did that because he 1) Didn't understand John, who in many ways...

Re: I'm afraid for HS^2
IDK. HS^2 can claim whatever it wants, but it will always be canon, and it canon-ized the Epilogues, which to me is a mistake.
