My number one hit webcomic ROBOQUEST has almost 400 pictures drawn for it (398 or something) which is the most I've ever worked on a single art project before.

I'm getting a nice tan from working in the garden.

I got a raise at work which means now I make an extra 30 cents an hour to play browser games and pawn off tax work on co op students.

I've lost weight but my tits didn't deflate.

I found a snake in the garden and preserved it in some formalin. My pet skeleton also arrived in the mail so I've been dressing him up in funny ways.

Life is good right now.

It's dark, and I poured a glass of what I thought was orange juice for myself. Turns out it was chocolate milk!! :chummy:

I finally, after over a year of knitting, figured out how not to twist my purl stitches! It turns out that I was wrapping the yarn clockwise on knits (I'm left-handed, so everything's backwards...which is a-whole-nother set of issues) and counterclockwise on purls. The knits were fine, but the purls were twisted. So I changed my purl method and made literally my first untwisted swatch ever.

the best thing to ever happen to me has to be making a name for myself.

just...one day I started a comic on mspfa, people read it and enjoy it.

I achieved my dream of making comics on the internet.

About a year ago, I got a call from a friend I hadn't heard from in years. In that time she had done a lot of work with her church and had gotten into the fashion industry, and was hosting charitable shows to raise awareness against human trafficking. She asked if I would be interested in being a model and I said sure, why not. Since then I've done three fashion shows so far with these guys, and one more coming this May, and last Saturday I had a photoshoot at a formalwear store with an old industry vet they had referred me to. I never considered myself pretty (in fact, one of my kitchen jokes is "ugly chef, sexy food"), and it's still crazy to me that being a part-time model is part of who I am but hey, sometimes the best way to go is where the road takes you.

As someone who is learning, albeit very slowly, about clothes, I can appreciate this post. Hope your skillz are even sharper by now.
