I wanna show some love for Hammerkind, a beautiful homestuck platformer based around the first three acts.

Original source (404)» Fight shale imps to collect grist, to build, to climb!
» 6-7 different powerups that you can purchase (using shale, of course)!
» Special unlockable game modes!
» At-home multiplayer! (No online functionality yet, sorry.)
» Secrets!
» Tons of (midi) music inspired by songs from Homestuck canon!
» Lots of love for the first three acts!
» Extra-canon boss battle!
» So many surprises. All of the surprises.
Hammerkind features original game mechanics, inspired by webcomic you know and love, or probably do if you’re here reading this. Go see a handful of SCREENSHOTS here if you’d like, or just download the game and give it a try!
WARNING: Hammerkind has weird physics, and will not function like most platformers or brawlers. The jump has no air-control, John accelerates quickly while running, and the way attacks work is odd. A large part of the game is learning to use this to your advantage!
Hammerkind is a free game for many reasons, some of them obvious. First among them is the fact that this game was made to be played, and I would like as many people as possible to play it! I am, however, accepting donations if you’re feeling especially generous! Months of hard work went into what you see here today, and if you found it worth your time, perhaps you found it worth some of your money as well.
