i also heard the author did 9/11 and caused the great depression too.

I don't trust your assessment. It's the post-truth, meta-ironic, hypermodernist comic this baudrillardian hellscape known as the Internet always needed, but never got. Simply put, it's truly groundbreaking, by subverting your expectations in the first hundred pages, making you think it'd be your run-of-the-mill adventure. But then! It throws a curveball straight at your throat, rendering you unable to speak or even breathe. I got into a coma for three months because of this. The tight narrative, the expert pacing, the innovative concepts presented, the sensual composition of the whole comic, down to the panel, frame of .gif and sentence construed, and the electric character interactions all come together in tandem to slap you in the face and call you a bitch. I'm Good, I'm Gone is a masterpiece, a hallmark of 21th century literature. Fuck you.
