4/13 predictions?

So needless to say it's been a fairly shitty year for Homestuck. 2020 didn't turn out right, hs2 caused the pandemic, etc etc. Considering all that, y'all suppose we're getting anything this 4/13 from the Homestuck team? And if not, is there anything else to be looking forward to ie fan creations/projects having big updates this month.

Personally I wouldn't be surprised if we got a pesterquest/friendsim 2 this year, or maybe just an announcement about the state of Hiveswap. Then again, probably won't be anything considering their big project got axed :p
Maybe we'll get spoiled and a new homestuck book will be released at last.

Frankly I'm not really expecting anything from the team considering nothing they've done since the end of Homestuck has uh..... gone all that smoothly. I think once HS^2 and Hiveswap are completed enough, there won't be much more content past that. If anything, the fanbase usually pulls something fun together between content creators.

Welp, fuck me for being halfway optimistic. No announcement even well into the afternoon, just some half-assed drama on twitter and a few good fan projects. Oh well, at least 2021 will belong to the fans again. The good and bad of that included.

I won't go too in-depth but it just involves the recent Sarah z video and a member of the hs2 team's reaction to it. Twitter's always fighting over something or another though so it's not like it's too pressing. Just some anger over Sarah using a blog post written by a guy the member didn't personally like.
Oh that and the Homestuck twitter deleting all their tweets about hs2 too.

Honestly with how the team has been lately I'd rather we keep things to the fans lmao most fan content I've found (and made) surrounding the Homestuck universe has been way better than most of the canon stuff I've had access to. I honestly think it's time for the project to die, leave the fans to fade into an obscure corner of the internet. We're doing better with Hussies IP than he is anyway.

My personal opinion is that the last truly good thing done with Homestuck was Paradox Space but that's just me lol (Don't get me wrong, I *like* Friendsim/Hiveswap/Pesterquest from what I've seen of them, but those feel blatantly less related to Homestuck itself and more like headcanon fodder)

I've got a feeling that 4/13 will probably be more in the hands of the fanbase. We could get big news on some of the big projects that are being made.

i want hussie to post scraps that didn't make it into the comic (or something). this will never ever happen but i can dream
