so uh, new chapter... i guess? uh.. it was... huh.

It certainly was a chapter that has been released

I think they really need to plan out whole scenes, and not leave us on cliffhangers that we're probably not going to see the resolve of for the next few months.

Like okay the explosion has happened in the church, but how much are you going to bet that we're just going to swap timelines again and we're not going to see what's really going on over there.

basically nothing happened, so that's par for the course

I bet they'll switch POVs to Rose and Kanaya shooting at the church, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the timelines switched

every chapter with yiffy AND Dirk is automatically #Bad

I miraculously find myself caring even less about this one than any previous chapter. It's almost remarkable how little I care.

I'm here mostly for classpect stuff, Karkat as a rebellion leader and maybe robodave and crew, but I'll confess there's a lot going on here I don't have much of a vested interest in. Jane at this point hardly feels like a character to me. She may as well never have gotten the Tiaratop off her head.

This isn't to say I don't have hope that it could get better (I was, after all, one of the people who struggled to get invested until Act 2), but I'm can't really say that I expect it to get better right now, if that makes sense.

I think it's telling that when Homestuck^2 started I eagerly awaited each update, checked the site multiple times a day... just like I did with old homestuck.

Now I didn't even notice the last 3 updates in a row. Read them all at once. They aren't any better when read in bulk.
