The Clone returns from their pilgrimage, and begins to see the Soldier in a way that they had never thought of prior. Were their eyes always so beautiful? The Soldiers are both overwhelmed with similar feelings of affection for one another and embrace, ending with a kiss.

Then they both realize this is stupid, and forget all about it.

They are also going to avoid thinking about the fact that they are exact copies of one another. This is selfcest.
