How did you get introduced to Homestuck?

In 2008 my older cousin was into something called "Problem Sleuth", all I remember was him telling me it was some kind of parody on computer games... didn't really take much interest.
Fast forward to mid 2009 and he was talking about how the creator of Problem Sleuth was making a new comic online (my mind was blown that a comic on the internet was even a thing) and it was called "Homestuck". He said it was pretty complex and slow, but an alright read so far. I wouldn't have cared if he didn't tell me that a meteor hit someone's house, and my ten-year-old self liked post-apocalyptic stuff and was like "hell yeah". I read act 1 and, while confused at the start, never looked back.

I've always be aware of homestuck (as most ppl on the internet are) but I only ended up reading it when I was going though toby's back catalog and found some homestuck songs
I though they sounded pretty good and gave it a "small read"
Cut to me finishing act 5 and I already knew it was a new thing for me to bother ppl about

my former almost step sister read it and really loved terezi. she used to make me pretended to be vriska cuz we were still little lol. good times

I originally found it through a meme i saw on tumblr of terezi, and i was curious so i searched it up, that may have been one of the best (and worst) decisions i've made, took me nearly 2 years to finish the original comic because and now and ive read nearly all the media in the franchise, its consumed my life and im not mad about it, i accept my fate as an obsessed fan lol.

i got in via learning about penumbra phantasm from deltarune theories... When i heard this remix, i knew right then and there that I had to read Homestuck just to know what the hell HAPPENED. I started it, and... Here I am now. Between dreaming of Doc Scratch years before I read it, and my penchant for cosplay and body paint, I think I was always sort of destined 2 get in2 Homestuck.

Discovered Earthbound through Smash Ultimate in 7th grade, played through it and totally loved it so I joined the starmen.net forums. Someone made a comment MENTIONING Homestuck and everyone made some chatter about it, so I eventually decided to check it out. Got confused about how to read it, gave up. Came back and committed till halfway through Intermission 1, gave up. Came back AGAIN and busted it out in about 2 months. Now I'm reading it again and begging my friends to do the same. Life is rad, folks.

Some friends I was RPing with on Gaia Online told me about it, in part because one of the characters had some similarities to one of the folks in our broader RP community. This was back in 2011 or so.
