New to the Forum

Greetings. I'm kinda new to this forum and I have no idea what I'm doing here. Also, this is my first time posting something on the internet that does not involve any type of academic or objective reasons. So basically, this is my first time being social online. So may I ask a question here? What do you do in forums? Is it like a messaging type of website or a Twitter-like (or X if you are obsessed with Elon's perspective) website?

Welcome! I'm fairly new as well, but I've been a part of several forums before so I'm no stranger to these types of places. This forum is generally centered around Andrew Hussie's webcomic "Homestuck," but there are a bunch of other mini-forums contained in this site that deal with other things. The one you posted this in is specifically just for discussion about the comic itself, whereas something like the general chat forum would've been more fitting for the post. Don't worry though, you'll get the hang of it fast! I'd encourage you to look around at all the forums, read some discussions, etc, just to see what kind of stuff you might like to be involved in around here. Also, if you haven't read much of Homestuck, be wary of spoilers!

No problem! I hope you have a good time here, I've definitely enjoyed it so far! From what it seems, the place is less active than it used to be, but people still come around every now and then. It's always good when new users come and stay too, so thanks for being one of them!
